For people who have cheated. PLEAS HELP!?

I honestly wouldn't call what you did "cheating"! Yes, you kissed someone else, BUT you said you stopped BEFORE you had . So you didn't actually to my way of thinking "cheat" on him. I DO admit I did cheat on my husband who I loved. He cheated on me countless times & we both are alcoholics. I stopped drinking but he didn't. I hung in with him for 12 yrs. hoping he'd get sober & we'd have a chance at our marriage. WRONG, it didn't happen. I sat home nite after nite waiting to see when/if he'd come home after a "nite out". I knew darn rite well he was with other women. I finally did "break down" & did cheat on him as I just needed someone who I tho't cared about me so I had a couple affairs. I needed to be needed & took this as my way "out". On our last counseling session we were told he was a "womanizer" & to get professional help with that along with his alcoholism. I never did tell him I had cheated on him & honestly don't even know if he would have cared! But I consider "cheating" as actually going thru with a ual act, not just kissing...best to you, honey...:)
