Need information from experienced dog owner/trainer - best dog for me?

first a Hybrid or wolf are beautiful but very hard to train you have to stay on top of them with out lack this also goes for the mastiff huskies pit bulls they all have high energy ok i would say to meet in the middle and say lab or retriever they have high energy as well but not as much they do shed but that's hard to get around. as well labs and retrievers are easy to train and very obedient. they live from 12 to 15 years. good luck and remember its the taining you do with the dog that will make it more suitable with what you want.
