How can you make feel good?

My boyfriend and I have never had , not all the way. We have had tired a few times and he would start to go in with a condom and it would hurt lk hell. I would start to bleed. I know you need lube to help when having but can the lubricant on the condom be good enough? My boyfriend wants to try it and i have no problems trying new things. What can i do?
