Violin or Cello... which is easier to play?

well your both looking at basically the same instrument just one is greatly enlarged. i play the violin, and i prefer it a lot over the cello mostly because its cheaper and its A LOT easier to hall around if you have to go to recitals or if you have to play for someone or whatever...hope this helped. plus there are a lot more things you can do with a violin, like playing ensembles with pianos. i can tell you that like availability of like ensembles for violins greatly outnumber those of cellos
