Which is the worst city in the north?

I would personally say Manchester. There's something about it that I find is absolutely horrible, the rain, the horrendous buildings, the unfreindly people. I'm from Leeds originally, which I also dislike for the same reasons, but at least it is small and you can get out and into the countryside fast which is impossible in Manchester. I also find Liverpool and Sheffield very depressing cities but I'm not repulsed by them quite as much as I am by Leeds or Manchester for some reason.
