What roles does agricultural education play in the economic and social development of a developing nation?

Basically agriculture is defined as the primary sector of any economy. As a result its the industry from which all others grow so in order for a country to develop properly it needs to have adoption of technology that can only be achieved through agricultural education. The reason for this is that the faster the farmers learn how to correctly use technology to increase their production the faster the so-called marketable surplus emerges enabling farmers to trade their produce and not only be able to afford to buy other products but also be able to jump start the economy. In other words without agricultural education leading to the necessary technology adoption its very hard for societies to become accustomed to using more advanced means of technology and as a result harder for people to escape subsistence farming and the harder it is for social and economic conditions to improve.
